Salad Burnet, Culinary uses

The leaves have a pleasant nutty flavour, and are good added to salads or used in fish sauces - in the style of parsley or chervil. They can also be added to summer drinks (such as Pimm's) as a change from borage or mint.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
