Bonne Femme

The name given to two forms of French garnish -

1.Small turning potatoes and button onions, served with bacon strips and sliced mushrooms - to accompany poached chicken.

2.Thinly-sliced mushrooms, served with poached fish - generally in a white or white wine sauce.
