Ashdown Foresters

An award-winning full-fat, organic, cows milk cheese – produced by The Sussex High Weald Dairy at Horsted Keynes, Mid Sussex - using pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.

It's an unpressed cheese, but quite firm, with a slightly open texture and appley taste . Cheeses are matured for about 3 months and turned daily during this period.

Cheeses are made in 1.5kg & 3.5kg truckles. An oak-smoked version is also produced. For more information see (
