Swaledale Old Peculier

A pasteurised cowsÂ’ milk cheese, made in a similar fashion to traditional Swaledale, but the moist curds are soaked in Theakstons Old Peculiar Yorkshire Ale (we believe 4 fl oz of TheakstonÂ’s Old Peculier Ale added to each 1 lb. of curd). This gives the cheese a soft texture, distinctive flavour and marbled appearance. Cheeses are finished in Black Wax.
