Zita; Saint (1218-1272)
The patron saint of bakers, domestic servants and waiters/waitresses.
Zita was a domestic servant from the age of twelve to a family in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.
She often gave her food, and that of her master to those more poor than herself.
Zita was canonized by Pope Leo X on September 5th 1696.
