Chef de Partie
A middle-ranking chef who is responsible for one 'section' of the kitchen; such as starters, desserts or vegetables. He/she will come under the commsnd of the head and sous chef, but might be supported by one or more commis chefs. See 'Sous Chef'; 'Commis Chef'; 'K.P/Kitchen Porter'
