Grapefruit & Dieting
An 'experiment' at a San Diego clinic on 100 of their obese patients, divided them into two groups - who were both fed the same strict diet. The only difference was that one of the groups was given an additional half grapefruit a day. At the end of a 12 week trial, the none grapefruit group had lost an average of half a pound each, whilst those eating the fruit had lost an average of three and a half pounds each.
