Compound Butter

Butter, into which various flavourings (such as parsley, and or garlic; shrimps, and such-like) have been beaten. They are usually chilled, and when hard can be cut into decorative shapes if desired. But they can also be used at room temperature as sandwich fillings.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
