Orange; dried

Slices of orange can be dried in a very slow oven or in an airy greenhouse. They can then be stored in a dry place, and used to flavour summer drinks and winter casseroles. The flavour intensifies, so they must be used sparingly.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
