Bauno (Mangifera verticillata)

A close relative of the mango, rather resembling a small mango. The orange-yellow flesh is very fibrous, soft and aromatic. It has a pleasant, slightly sour tase, reminiscent of apricot.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards.
