Watermelon (Citrullus Lanatus):

A green-skinned melon variety which can grow up to enormous sizes. Naturally, they are full of seeds, which are spread about their red flesh - however, seedless varieties are now marketed (although these are strictly speaking 'seed-less' rather than seedless. Like most melons (but not honey dews) their flavour ceases to develop once they have been picked. To measure ripeness on the plant - if it has a metallic sound when tapped it isn't ripe.
