Wildebeest / gnu

A type of antelope (belonging to the Connochaetes family), and living in southern Africa (from Kenya southwards). They have a cow-like face, a beard, and mane, and both sexes have curved horns. The body is about 4 feet/1.2m tall, at the shoulder, and slopes away to the hindquarters. They live in large herds, and move together on seasonal migrations.
