Cotswold Legbar

Type of rare hen, originating in South America, producing pastel-coloured eggs.

The majority of these are pale-blue, but some are olive, pink, eau-de-nil and turquoise. As well as a good talking point, they have a good rich flavour and make superb cakes.

For more information contact Clarence Court, PO Box 37, Broadway, Worcestershire WR12 7YG.
