Goji Berries

A variety of Lycium, grown in the valleys of Northern China, Tibet and Mongolia. A variety called wolfberries, is grown in Mexico. Gogi berries are perhaps the most nutritionally rich food on the planet. They have been shown to have potential benefits in fighting heart disease, some forms of cancer and premature ageing.

They also seem to fortify the immune system and protect against colds.

They are nicknamed the 'happy berry' because of the well-being goji's are said to induce.
