The Quicke Family have been farming at Newton St. Cyres for over 450 years, and have for many years produced some of the country's best Cheddar cheese, from their herd of Friesian cattle.

The Dairy's speciality is Cheddar which is aged for between 6 and over 24 months – depending on the character required – and this is made in Traditional', 'Vintage', 'Unpasteurised', 'Oak Smoked' and 'Herb' varieties.

They also make traditional Red Leicester, Double Gloucester, a Hard Goats' Milk Cheddar – plus butter. Cheeses are made in clothed truckles of between 1.8 to 25kg. For more information contact J. G.
