Isle of Mull Traditional Farmhouse Cheese
Makers of an excellent Cheddar-style cheese called 'Isle of Mull' - made from unpasteurised cows' milk and traditional rennet by the Reade family at Tobermory.
Cheeses are paler in colour than most West Country cheeses, but are strong and salty. Chris Reade learned to make cheese from Fred Acreman who used to make the excellent Montgomery Cheddar. Cheeses are made in 22kg truckes.
