J A & E Montgomery

One of Britain's top producers of traditional Cheddar, and like the Ducketts and Keens this now runs into many generations.

The dairy produces about 60 truckles of one cheese a week - 'Montgomery's Cheddar' - using unpasteurised milk from their own Friesian cows; plus traditional calf rennet.
