Acorn Cheese

A semi-hard sheeps milk cheese, made by Little Acorn at Bethania in Ceredigion – using unpasteurised ewes' milk and vegetarian rennet.

The cheese is based on Wensleydale, and shares that cheeses' crumbly texture, but it melts in the mouth releasing a herby flavour, tinged with that of nuts & citrus. Cheeses ripen in 3 to 6 months.
