Rice and Peas

A traditional and staple dish in Jamaica - and generally served to accompany fish or meat. It consists of rice mixed with any available legume (not just 'common' peas). These generally peing cooked with garlic and spices.

The whole is then flavoured with the likes of chili's, herbs, onions and coconut milk.
