Chickweed (Stellaria Media)

A common annual 'weed', which is useful for both culinary and medicinal purposes. It can be cooked as a vegetable, like spinach, or used raw in salads.

It's so called because poultry liked it, but was in fact, cultivated by the Ancient Greeks and Romans as a vegetable.
