Specialists in damson cheese which is actually just made with damsons and sugar, and a Yorkshire and Cumbrian speciality.
This version, made by Jane Davies, made with their own fruit, won the Small Producers Award in 2002, and is packaged in an attractive pottery container.
It can be used as a dessert and is especially good with flaked almonds and a dash of Port or as a tracklement with meat and game.
Excellent pottery is their main business.
