A farm shop specialising in the cheeses made on the farm and sold under the 'Barber' brand. These range from mild to Vintage Cheddar (matured for 15 months); but the farm also makes Double Gloucester, Red Leicester, Caerphilly, Cheshire, Lancashire and Stilton; plus the Dutch varieties Edam and Gouda.
The Barber name might be familiar, as it's often one of the premium British cheeses offered by the better supermarkets.
The farm shop offers a wide range of additional cheeses, and has a butchery department, plus an area selling home-made-style cakes, jams, honey and chutneys.

What did you like about the Food Shop?
Lovely people and some of the tastiest cheese you will find anywhere. I stopped buying the "extra mature" and "seriously strong" cheddars in supermarkets and only buy cheese from Marylands. The 30 mile round trip every month is now the only way i buy cheese anywhere. Thank you :-)
What did you not like about the Food Shop?
It is not opposite my house
