A retail outlet of The Real Meat Company, who are based at Warminster in Wiltshire.
The base company is run by Richard Guy, supplying of meat and poultry reared without growth promoters, pre-emptive medication regimes (used to keep animals fit in over crowded conditions) and chemical yolk colourants.
Their animals are regularly checked by a team from Bristol University Veterinary School and their welfare is paramount. They are not, however, reared organically, so there is a certain amount of leeway. This claim that none of their beef farmers has had a case of BSE reported on their farms ever. Which just shows the advantages of a natural diet! They also offer a comprehensive traiteur range of dishes that can go straight from your deep-freeze (in a foil tray) to the oven, these include the likes of chicken paupiettes, lamb ballotine and Mediterranean beef olives. They are particularly proud of their pork pies.
