If you're anywhere near the National Trust's Sheffield Park Garden's or The Bluebell Railway, your trip would be incomplete without a visit here.
Easy to miss, the nursery is hidden down an unsurfaced road between Sheffield Park House and the main A275. You'll find a rambling walled garden crammed full of old fashioned plant varieties displayed in a way unfamiliar to those over-used to modern garden centre. However, if you seek advice, you will find expert help at hand and an excellent selection of culinary herbs.
They also sell wine from their cellar, including their own 'Sirfelle' a sparking wine, made from grapes from their 3 acre vineyard.
