Clonakilty Farmers Market

McCurtain Hill, Clonakilty, County Cork, Republic of Ireland
Recommended by Gourmet Britain
A good farmers market, offering plenty of local produce, included bread from Arbutus & The Baking Emporium.

There is generally a stall selling organic Aberdeen Angus beef and organic Black Faced lamb from Mrs Hamilton's Organic Beef & Lamb; plus another selling cheesecakes, clotted cream, fromage frais and fruit mousses from Glenilen Farm.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
