Baker of first-class 'Selkirk Bannocks'. These are small, round cakes generously studded with sultanas, at this bakery still made in ovens and to a recipe that's over 100 years old (although they are now fired by gas rather than their original coke. They should be eaten liberally covered with butter.

They also offer other Scottish specialities – such as Border/Ecclefechan Tart (see photo), Scottish Black Buns and Clootie Dumplings.
