This family firm have been producing traditionally-smoked,undyed, haddock and salmon for over 100 years.
With the changing patterns of the fishing industry, the former is now sourced from the Faroe Islands and the latter from farms in the Shetlands. Visits to their smoke houses can be organised between 8.00 and 15.00, Monday to Friday - and are interesting if you're in the vicinity.
Most fish goes to the wholesale market, but a mail order system operates if over 3 kilos of fish is ordered.
