Suppliers of fresh chilis and tomatillo's during the local growing season (which generally means between July and early December). Michael and Joy Michaud grow hundreds of varieties, but just a few of the most popular are on offer; these include Poblano/Ancho, Spanish Fryer, Hungarian Hot Wax, Jalapeno, Serrano and Cherry - always in peak condition - although a mixed bag is also offered; as are Tomatillo's (Mexican green tomatoes).
Fresh chilis will keep for up to two weeks in a plastic bag in the fridge.
They can also be frozen, preserving their flavour but not their texture. A recipe set is included with every order. Chili postcards are a side order.
