Mervin Austin mills his own organic flour using French burr stones and Derbyshire peak stones at his excellent bakery. The resultant bread (around 30 varieties) is baked in a wood-fired oven, which takes two weeks to reach its operating temperature. His Lincolnshire Plum loaf is a 'must buy'.
A good, and very popular café is a sideline. A mail order system operates.
