Excellent cheese shop, tucked up this little road, run with great enthusiasm since 1984 by Michael Jones. Over 150 types of cheese are stocked from over ten different countries (many unpasteurised), plus butter of an equally high standard.
A selection of carefully chosen bread includes some from The Village Bakery, Cumbria - Saturday brings many more varieties. Mail order can be arranged by phone, often with next day delivery.
A visit here can be combined with one to Dring Brothers Butchers (almost next door). The new Docklands Light Railway extension has opened up excellent shops like these to many more people.
