The Quicke family have been farming here for over 450 years, and for many years have been regarded as one of Britain's best Cheddar cheese producers.
It shouldn't be forgotten that they now make Red Leicester, Double Gloucester and a Hard Goats' Cheese, which is matured for 12 months.; plus an Oak-Smoked Cheddar and another flavoured with herbs; and whey butter in unsalted and semi-salted varieties.
The farm shop also offers meat, bread and other local products.
