Chain Bridge Honey Farm

Horncliffe, Horncliffe, Nr. Berwick-upon-Tweed,, Northumberland, TD15 2XT
A honey farm, established in 1948, and now run by Willie Robson - as the second generation.

They collect local honey from their 1,500 colonies of bees. Offerings include candles, cosmetics and mustard as well as honey. An interesting visitors centre contains an 'open' hive, and many other items of interest, making a visit well worthwhile. There's a fun-cafe (on a Routmaster Double Decker Bus) offering the likes of Honey Flapjacks, Honey Sponge and Honey Ice Cream. Mail Order Service, but not for their honey.

If you enjoy cooking take a minute to look at ‘Simon Scrutton French Cookery Classes’ on Google – and learn how to make top class bistro-style dishes. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes.
