A 17th century manor house, three miles north of Halifax, which for some years has been a charming hotel and destination restaurant. Period appeal remains in the day rooms, notably the three handsome oak-panelled rooms that make up this restaurant.
The entrance hall also features polished panelling, and the comfortable lounge opens onto an attractive courtyard.
All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, the best are four split-level suites; while the remainder are equipped with also the expected mod cons, and are both neat and comfortable, with colourful fabrics and period furniture. Two rooms have been specially-adapted for disabled guests.
