Originally created as a yachtsmen's club, this is now a boutique hotel - made up of a cluster of old houses on different levels - under the ownership of interior designer Olga Polizzi.
The bedrooms, are all individually designed and decorated with a mixture of antiques and Cornish art. All have views over the sea towards St. Anthony's lighthouse, as well as plush bathrooms with American-style showers. There are two family suites which can sleep up to three additional children.
A sumptuous lounge, with deep sofas, overlooks gardens leading down to the waters edge; and there's also a cinema, a children's room, a Wendy house and good conference facilities for business visitors. While a visit wouldn't be complete without a visit to their excellent restaurant.
They also have a 1938 World-Cup racing yacht and a speedboat, which are available for charter by the day/half day.
