You can see this excellent pub/restaurant with rooms from a considerably distance, as it dominates the skyline. It makes a marvellous stopover if walking the Coastal Footpath.
The proprietors' philosophy of 'the simple things in life done well' sums up the operation. The bar and dining area have eclectic decorations, including local art and photograph.
Their bedrooms are simply decorated and furnished - but good beds and top-quality bedlinen ensure a good nights sleep. All have en suite shower rooms, one a tub as well.
They are particularly-proud of their breakfasts, which are taken on a large table with views of the Atlantic.
The Felin Fach Griffin at Brecon (q.v.) and The Old Coastguard Mousehole (q.v.) are under the same ownership.
