What was built as a private house in the 18th century, has been lovingly restored into a comfortable hotel and destination restaurant. The name is a commemoration to Henry Adams, a well-known local shipbuilder, who lived here.
Bedrooms, many in an extension, have been comfortably furnished, and all have modern TV's with extra satellite channels, and all the expected modern amenities, including en suite bathrooms. There are 8 ground floor bedrooms, suitable for guests with some disabilities.
There's a comfortable longe, good meeting rooms and modern facilities for business users; and you can eat or relax informally in the Yachtsman's Bar, or more formally in their Riverside Restaurant (see below).
Nearby: Buckler's Hard Maritime Museum. Breamore House. The National Motor Museum. New Forest. New Forest Museum. Sailing.
