Devils on Horseback Recipe
An excellent Victorian savoury. Can be prepared ahead of time, then grilled at the last minute.

An equal quantity of large prunes and thin bacon rashers - (if you feel these aren't thin enough, gently flatten them between two pieces of cling film).
- Follow the instructions on the packet of prunes (the ones that need soaking are better, and worth the little extra effort.
- Stone each prune if you bought an unpitted variety, and wrap each one with a rasher of bacon.
- Hold the assemble together with a cocktail stick, that you have previously soaked in water.
- Grill until the bacon's cooked and serve on their sticks.
