Chocolate Refrigerator Cake Recipe
Not a cake in the accepted meaning of the word
4 oz/120gr Butter
1 tablespoon (15ml) Milk
1 oz/30gr Soft Brown Sugar
7 oz/210gr Plain Chocolate (50% Cocoa Mass minimum)
6 oz/180gr Rich Tea Biscuits - roughly chopped
2 oz/60gr Roughly-Chopped Walnuts
3 oz/90gr Chopped Glacé Cherries
1. Melt the butter over a gentle heat, add the sugar, milk and chocolate.
2. Heat until the chocolate has melted.
3. Stir in the broken biscuits, walnuts and glace cherries.
4. Cool a little, then roll into a long 'sausage' in foil and chill in the fridge until it's firm.
Slice to serve.
