Chicken Legs - with Soy Marinade
These make excellent party or barbecue food, but your fingers will get a little sticky.
8 Chicken Drumsticks
4 tablespoons (60ml) of Dark Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon (5ml) Ground Ginger
1. Heat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4 or light the barbecue.
2. Mix the powdered ginger with the soy sauce, then coat the chicken drumsticks.
3. Cook the chicken in the oven for about 25-30 minutes turning the over half way through.
4. You can cook them on the barbecue if you prefer, but we suggest you just use this for finishing them off, to ensure the chicken is fully cooked, but not over-charred.
