The cooking style is equally modern, and the kitchen has honed-in on the excellent quality of produce & seafood available locally.
An early autumn menu begin with 'Vegetable Tempura with Rocket Salad & Coraiander & Chili Dressing'; 'Chicken Liver Parfait with Toasted Brioche & Mushroom Salsa'; 'Grilled Fillet of Marinated Cornish Mackerel with Crispy Squid, Honey & Ginger Dressing' and 'Egg Linguine Bound in a Crab Bisque with Cornish Crab, Plum Tomato & Coriander' amongst the starters.
Whilst dishes such as 'Slow Roasted Rump of Local Lamb with Char-Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables, Carrot & Thyme Rosti'; 'Confit of West Country Pork Belly with Mustard Mash, Broad Beans, Peas & Pancetta'; 'Pan-Fried Cornish Sea Bass with Potato Cake, Wilted Spinach & Salsa Verde' and 'Butternut Squash Risotto with Parmesan & Toasted Seeds' followd.
