Smelly Alley Fish Company
An excellent fishmonger, having a name you're unlikely to forget. This is derived from the colloquial name of Union Street during the 1600's, when an open sewer ran done its length.
The shop offers an impressive array of fish and shellfish, which is sourced from wherever they can best find it – be it Newlyn or the Shetland Islands.
However, they sell responsibly, most fish being that recommended by the the Marine Conservation Society (and others marked). They offer free delivery for orders of over £40; plus an efficient mail order service. See their web site.
